The Cottage

Was originally built as a barn in the 18th Century and then converted into three farm workers cottages. In recent years it has been converted into a large family house and Guest House.

The building has a wealth of beams, open fires and stands in a one acre garden sloping down to the River Goyt.

With only two guest bedrooms it has the atmosphere of a well run family country house where personal service and attention to detail are paramount.

The Lounge

Restfully furnished, it is the ideal place to relax.  There is a beautiful open fire to sit by and enjoy during the cooler months.  Guests have the use of a stereo, colour television and video.

Dining Hall

Attractive beamed dining hall with open fire where guests can be assured of good service and home cooked food.
